B-ball fitness
Basketball is a great way to get active while having fun. Did you know that throughout your average basketball game you run almost 7 miles! If you haven't worked out in a while playing basketball is a great way to start. You can start out with a warm up, such as running a few laps, stretching, and taking a few shots on the basket. Now, if you are looking to not only get fit but also improve your basketball skills, you can get a workout buddy. Having a workout buddy will allow you to run drills, play games such as lightning, and to finish off your workout, you can play a quick one on one game. Whenever you are working out, make sure to have a water bottle with you. Keeping yourself hydrated throughout your workout is key. Staying hydrated will allow you to preform at your top level. It will also prevent you from getting muscle cramp and strains. So don't wait to get active, grab a friend, a basketball, and some water and you're ready to go.
